Big Deals, Little Deals is a book about problem solving for children in grades prekindergarten to fourth grade. Everyone experiences Big Deals and Little Deals - what is the difference between the two and how will they help solve classroom problems?

This book teaches students the difference between Big Deals, which are handled by adults and Little Deals, which are handled by the student. Using this book decreases the tattling and empowers students to solve problems themselves instead of always going to an adult to fix things.

Salem Elementary #111 is using the program from grades K-5 and when implemented fully, it does help with problem solving. The main reason for using this program is to teach children to be empowered to solve their own problems, but to know an adult will help them with the really big stuff.

Every registered participant will receive a copy of the book and a CD to implement the program!
Registration has closed for July 26, 2017.                                        View Class List
