Description: Join Dr. Brandy Hempen and Dr. DeeAnn Schnautz in this virtual workshop outlining the Illinois Priority Learning Standards. Complete this workshop at your own pace on your own time in the comfort of your own home! After a brief overview of the standards is addressed, participants will engage in resources and materials related to the social emotional, math, ELA, science, social science, and fine arts priority learning standards set for Illinois. Discover free resources that you can use to teach to these standards to heop with any unfinished learning caused by the COVID 19 pandemic. Direct links to the materials are provided including questions from the IAR assessments to both math and ELA. Evidnece statements for all standards at all grade levels will also be examined. Participants will leave this workshop knowing exactly what they should be teaching during the 2021-2022 school year to maximize both student and teacher success.
