Description:   The beginning of the school year is full of excitement and gives teachers a blank slate to start the year off strong! It also can be filled with unknown issues and curveballs that are thrown in, leading to uncertainty and stress-filled situations for teachers to navigate. Teachers will learn about social-emotional learning (SEL) based principles and how to use them to identify potential triggers before they turn your positive classroom environment upside down. Teachers will have the opportunity to brainstorm creative and fun strategies to facilitate positive and engaged learners, ways to engage with parents and guardians, and how to carry positive energy throughout the school year regardless of the situation. Please bring an electronic device with you to participate in the brainstorming session.
