| Description: | The purpose of this course will be to provide administrators with an in-depth overview of the topics and processes related to meeting School Code compliance requirements through ISBE, ROEs and ISCs. Included in this workshop will be an overview of the ISBE School District Compliance process and components, access to and use of the ROE/ISC Electronic Compliance portal, an in-depth look at how to meet numerous specific requirements that often are unknown, ways to demonstrate evidence of meeting item requirements, and ways to involve district personnel in the process along with strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. District administrators and personnel will work directly with the Electronic Compliance Portal and experience methods of assessing and uploading appropriate evidence to demonstrate compliance in numerous key items contained within the portal and develop a Responsible/Accountable/Consulted/Informed plan for meeting State Compliance items. | |
