Description: | This hands-on interactive, lab type training will allow your staff and administration to implement a threat assessment system that follows the recommendations of the Safe Schools Initative and the prescriptive outline provided by the FBI. This training will cover an introduction to the basic concepts of threat assessment, youth dating aggression, as well as domestic violence, the threat assessment process for schools, and analyze case studies. Districts are strongly encouraged to bring a team to this training.
We strive to bring our educators excellent presenters and of course that comes with a cost. When our educators register to attend a workshop, we expect them to honor their intention to participate. As we move forward, there will be a charge of $125 for participants who register, but do not attend.
