Description: |
Are you an educator interested in incorporating practical maker applications into your classroom teaching? This session will provide hands-on experience and guidance on how to bring maker activities to the classroom, giving teachers the tools they need to help students develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills. Participants will learn about the philosophy of maker education, explore both high-tech and low-tech maker tools and technologies, and engage in practical activities that will help them incorporate maker and STEM education into their lesson plans. We will also explore effective classroom management when working with maker tools. By the end of this session, you will have a clear understanding of how to implement maker activities and the benefits they can bring to the student learning experience. We will provide lots of great resources so you can continue your learning journey beyond the session. |
