| Description: | This training will provide a basic understanding to paraprofessionals on how trauma alters the brain and impacts learning in the school setting. Many strategies will be shared to help support these struggling students. As a paraprofessional, you work with students in a variety of settings from the playground to the classroom and on the school bus. When you have a deeper understanding of their adverse experiences, you can help these students advance their academic achievement. | |
